It is recommended to change the engine oil every 100 hours of operation or at least once per season, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol-blended fuels higher than E10, as they can damage the engine components.
First, check the battery connections and ensure they are clean and tight. Verify there is enough fuel in the tank and that the fuel valve is open. Inspect the spark plug and replace it if it appears worn or damaged.
The recommended tire pressure is 12 psi for the front tires and 10 psi for the rear tires. Proper tire pressure ensures optimal performance and even cutting.
Ensure the blades are sharp and properly balanced. Regularly clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup, and adjust the cutting height as needed for the type of grass and mowing conditions.
Clean the deck after each use to prevent rust and grass buildup. Check the deck belt for wear and proper tension. Lubricate the deck spindles and inspect for any signs of damage or wear.
Check the PTO switch and ensure it is in the correct position. Inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and replace it if necessary. Also, verify that all safety interlocks are functioning properly.
Locate the air filter housing, remove the cover, and take out the old air filter. Insert the new air filter and replace the cover securely. Check the air filter regularly and replace it every 200 hours or as needed.
Perform daily checks on oil level, tire pressure, and general condition. Change the oil every 100 hours, replace the air filter every 200 hours, and inspect the spark plug annually. Refer to the owner’s manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
Always wear appropriate safety gear such as gloves and eye protection. Ensure that the area is clear of debris and bystanders before mowing. Follow all safety instructions in the owner’s manual and never bypass safety features.
