The recommended engine oil for the Kubota M108S Tractor is SAE 15W-40, which is suitable for most operating conditions.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 200 hours of operation or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
Check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure the fuel system is free of air, and inspect the starter motor and ignition switch for faults.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 20-25 PSI and for the rear tires is 18-24 PSI, depending on the load and application.
To change the hydraulic oil, drain the old oil, replace the hydraulic filter, and refill with the recommended Kubota UDT or Super UDT fluid.
Remove the valve cover, rotate the engine to TDC on the compression stroke, and use a feeler gauge to measure and adjust the clearance to factory specifications.
Inspect the hydraulic fluid level and condition, check for leaks, and ensure that all hydraulic connections and hoses are secure and undamaged.
Regular maintenance checks include inspecting the air filter, checking fluid levels, examining belts and hoses, and ensuring proper tire inflation.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance is performed, use the correct engine oil, and operate the tractor at optimal engine RPMs for the task.
If overheating occurs, stop the tractor, allow it to cool, check the coolant level, inspect the radiator for blockages, and ensure the fan belt is in good condition.
