Kubota OC60 Operator's Manual

The recommended oil type for the Kubota OC60 engine is SAE 10W-30 or SAE 15W-40, depending on ambient temperature conditions.
It is recommended to change the oil every 100 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
To start the Kubota OC60 engine in cold weather, ensure the battery is fully charged, use the correct winter-grade oil, and preheat the engine using a block heater if available.
Check the fuel supply, battery condition, and ensure the air filter is clean. Inspect the glow plugs and starter motor for functionality.
Regular maintenance tasks include checking and replacing the oil and oil filter, inspecting and cleaning the air filter, checking the fuel filter, and ensuring all belts and hoses are intact.
To store the engine, drain the fuel, change the oil, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the engine to protect it from dust and moisture.
If the engine overheats, stop it immediately, check the coolant level, inspect the radiator and hoses for leaks, and ensure the fan is functioning properly.
To adjust the idle speed, locate the idle adjustment screw on the carburetor and turn it clockwise to increase the RPM or counterclockwise to decrease it.
Common signs include unusual noises, decreased performance, excessive smoke, oil leaks, and increased fuel consumption.
To improve fuel efficiency, regularly maintain the engine, ensure the air filter is clean, use the recommended oil type, and avoid overloading the engine.
