To adjust the tines, ensure the rake is on a flat surface. Loosen the adjustment bolts and set the tines to the desired height, ensuring they are evenly aligned. Tighten the bolts securely before use.
Regular maintenance includes checking tine wear, lubricating moving parts every 20 hours of operation, inspecting bolts and nuts for tightness, and cleaning debris after each use.
Uneven raking can be caused by improperly adjusted tines or uneven tire pressure. Check and adjust the tines, and ensure all tires are inflated to the manufacturer's specifications.
Inspect the tines for damage or excessive wear. Ensure they are correctly adjusted and replace any worn-out tines. Additionally, check for any obstructions in the rake mechanism.
Clean the rake thoroughly to remove any debris and dirt. Apply a light coat of oil to metal parts to prevent rust. Store in a dry, sheltered location away from extreme temperature changes.
Signs include visible wear, bending, or breakage of the tines. If the rake is not performing efficiently or leaving debris behind, it's time to inspect and potentially replace the tines.
It is not recommended to use the rake on excessively wet ground as it may cause damage to the tines and reduce efficiency. Allow the ground to dry slightly for optimal performance.
Use a tire pressure gauge to measure the pressure in each tire, ensuring it matches the recommended PSI listed in the user manual. Adjust as necessary using an air compressor.
Excessive vibration can be caused by loose or damaged components. Inspect all bolts and nuts, ensure the tines are properly aligned, and check for any damaged parts. Tighten or replace as needed.
Regular maintenance is key. Clean the rake after each use, lubricate moving parts regularly, store it properly, and perform routine inspections to address any minor issues before they escalate.
