Kubota LM56GB Owner's Manual

To start the Kubota LM56GB mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle lever is in the start position, and the PTO is disengaged. Then, turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine fires up.
The Kubota LM56GB mower is designed to run on unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with high ethanol content.
It is recommended to change the oil in the Kubota LM56GB mower after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season.
If the mower blades are not cutting properly, check if they are dull or damaged. Sharpen or replace the blades as necessary. Also, ensure the cutting height is set correctly and the deck is clean from debris.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and functional, and inspect the air filter for clogs. Also, verify that all safety switches are engaged properly.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever, usually found near the wheels. Move the lever to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting deck.
Before storing the mower for winter, clean the mower deck, change the oil, drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, and remove the battery to prevent discharge. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered location.
To replace the air filter, locate the air filter cover, remove it, and take out the old filter. Insert a new filter ensuring it fits snugly, and reattach the cover securely.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose bolts, or debris lodged in the deck. Inspect and balance the blades, tighten any loose bolts, and clear any debris.
To clean the mower deck, safely lift the mower and use a garden hose or scraper to remove accumulated grass and debris. Ensure the mower is off and the spark plug is disconnected before cleaning.
