To start the Kubota LM315GC Mower, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to 'fast', and the blades are disengaged. Then, turn the key in the ignition to start the engine.
If the mower does not start, check the battery charge, ensure the fuel tank has fuel, verify the spark plug connection, and inspect the air filter for blockages.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season, whichever comes first.
The recommended oil type for the Kubota LM315GC Mower is SAE 10W-30 for general use. Check the manual for specific temperature conditions.
To improve cutting performance, regularly sharpen the blades, adjust the cutting height appropriately, and ensure the undercarriage is clean from grass buildup.
After use, clean the mower by removing grass clippings and debris with a brush or air compressor, and wash the deck with water. Avoid using high-pressure water on engine parts.
If the blades are not engaging, check the blade engagement lever or switch, inspect the belt for wear or damage, and ensure that the PTO (Power Take-Off) clutch is functioning properly.
To replace the air filter, remove the air filter cover, take out the old filter, insert a new filter, and secure the cover back in place. Ensure the new filter is seated properly to avoid engine damage.
Regular maintenance includes changing the oil, checking and replacing the air filter, sharpening the blades, inspecting the belts, and checking tire pressure. Follow the maintenance schedule in the manual.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever near the wheels, and move it to the desired cutting height position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
