Kubota GZD15-II LD GZD15-II HD Operator's Manual

To start the Kubota GZD15-II mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is off, and the throttle lever is in the 'Start' position. Insert the key and turn it to the 'Start' position until the engine fires, then release it to the 'Run' position.
If the mower won't start, check the battery charge, ensure the fuel valve is open, and verify the spark plug connections. Also, make sure the safety switches are engaged properly.
The engine oil should be changed every 100 hours of operation or at least once a season, whichever comes first. Refer to the owner's manual for the recommended oil type.
Regularly inspect and clean the mower deck to prevent grass buildup. Sharpen or replace the blades as needed and check the belt tension. Grease the spindles and pivot points every 50 hours of use.
Uneven cutting can be caused by dull blades, improper deck leveling, or tire pressure discrepancies. Check and adjust these components as necessary to resolve the issue.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height adjustment lever located near the operator's seat. Move the lever to the desired position, ensuring it locks into place securely.
If the mower overheats, check the coolant level, ensure the radiator is clean and unobstructed, and inspect the fan belt for wear or damage. Allow the engine to cool before attempting any maintenance.
Before storing for winter, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
To improve performance, ensure regular maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, and air filter cleaning. Check tire pressure and belt tension regularly, and use high-quality fuel.
