To set up your BeerTender, first ensure all components are clean and dry. Insert the drip tray, connect the tube to the keg, and place the keg inside the BeerTender. Close the lid, plug in the device, and wait for the indicator light to show that the beer is cooled to the right temperature.
If the BeerTender is not dispensing beer, check that the keg is correctly installed and the tube is connected firmly. Ensure the unit is powered on, and the keg is properly chilled. Inspect for any blockages in the dispensing tube.
Clean the BeerTender after every keg to maintain hygiene and performance. Wash the drip tray, tap unit, and tube with warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before reassembly.
The BeerTender is designed to work with Heineken, Heineken Light, and Newcastle Brown Ale 5L mini-kegs. Other brands may not be compatible.
Consult the user manual for specific error light meanings. Typically, unplug the unit, check connections, and restart. If issues persist, contact customer support.
Keep the BeerTender plugged in and the lid closed to maintain optimal temperature. Consume the beer within 30 days of tapping for best freshness.
Some noise is normal as the cooling system operates. However, if the noise is unusually loud or persistent, check for proper placement and ensure the unit is on a stable surface.
To replace the tap handle, pull the existing handle upward to remove it. Align the new handle with the slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
The Krups BeerTender B90 operates on standard US electrical outlets with a voltage of 120V. Ensure your outlet meets these requirements before use.
When not in use, clean and dry all components. Store the BeerTender in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it unplugged and ensure the lid is closed.
