Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit. Disconnect the saw from power before making adjustments or changing blades.
Disconnect the saw from power. Use the blade wrench to loosen the arbor nut, remove the old blade, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the teeth are facing the correct direction, then tighten the arbor nut securely.
Check if the blade is aligned correctly and if the table is level. Also, inspect the blade for any damage or wear that might be causing erratic cuts.
Perform a general maintenance check every 20 hours of use. This includes cleaning the saw, checking for loose bolts, and inspecting the blade and motor.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade, loose parts, or an uneven work surface. Check and correct these issues to minimize vibration.
Use a sharp, high-quality blade, and ensure the saw is properly calibrated. Use a guide or fence and take your time when making cuts to ensure accuracy.
Stop using the saw immediately and let the motor cool down. Check for any obstructions or overloading that might be causing the motor to overheat.
Attach a dust collection bag or connect a vacuum to the saw's dust port to capture sawdust. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated.
Check the power supply and ensure the saw is plugged in securely. Inspect the power cord for damage and reset any tripped circuit breakers.
Turn on the laser and make a test cut on a piece of scrap wood. Adjust the laser alignment screws until the laser line matches the cut line accurately.
