To reset the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the fridge. Press the 'Fridge' or 'Freezer' button to cycle through the available temperature settings until you reach the desired temperature.
Check if the refrigerator is overfilled, as this can restrict airflow. Ensure the vents inside the fridge and freezer are not blocked. Also, verify that the door seals are clean and intact to maintain a proper seal.
Locate the water filter compartment, typically found in the upper right corner inside the fridge. Twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
Pooling water can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Clear the drain by flushing it with warm water. If necessary, use a pipe cleaner to remove any debris blocking the drain line.
First, check if the bulb needs to be replaced. If the bulb is fine, inspect the door switch for any defects or damage, as it might need replacement.
To adjust the shelves, tilt the front upward and lift the shelf out. Position the shelf at your desired height and set it back into the shelf brackets, ensuring it is level and secure.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months, replace the water filter every six months, and check door seals for wear and tear regularly.
Noises can often come from the compressor, evaporator fan, or condenser fan. Ensure the refrigerator is level and there are no obstructions in or around the fans.
Check the water line connections for any leaks and ensure they are tightened. Inspect the drain pan and defrost drain for any blockages or damage.
To manually defrost, unplug the refrigerator and open the doors. Allow the ice to melt naturally or use towels to soak up water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
