To assemble the Karcher BR 30/4 C, start by attaching the handle to the main unit using the screws provided. Then, insert the brush roller into the designated slot and secure it in place. Finally, attach the clean water tank, making sure it clicks into position.
Regularly inspect the brush roller for debris and wear. Clean it after each use by removing hair, threads, and other materials that may have wrapped around it. If the bristles appear worn out, replace the brush roller as needed to ensure optimal performance.
If the machine is not dispensing water, check that the clean water tank is properly filled and securely attached. Ensure that the filter is not clogged and the solution valve is not blocked. If necessary, clean the filter and check the water lines for obstructions.
Ensure the power cord is fully plugged into a working outlet. Check the fuse or circuit breaker in the power supply. If the unit still does not power on, inspect the cord and plug for damage. If issues persist, contact Karcher customer support.
Streaks can occur if the squeegee is dirty or damaged. Clean the squeegee and check for any signs of wear. Ensure that the brush roller is clean and not worn out. Adjust the machine's settings according to the floor type you are cleaning.
After use, empty and rinse both the clean and dirty water tanks. Clean the brush roller and squeegee. Store the machine in a dry, cool place, ensuring the handle is in the upright position to prevent damage.
Use only Karcher-approved cleaning solutions to avoid damaging the machine. These solutions are formulated to work effectively with the BR 30/4 C and ensure the best cleaning results. Avoid using harsh chemicals or non-compatible detergents.
Filters should be checked regularly and cleaned after each use. Replace them if they appear damaged or after approximately every 100 hours of operation, depending on the frequency of use and the condition of the areas being cleaned.
The Karcher BR 30/4 C is designed primarily for hard floors. It is not suitable for use on carpets as it may not effectively clean them and could potentially cause damage.
When using the machine on delicate surfaces, ensure you use the correct cleaning solution and adjust the brush pressure settings. Test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure there is no damage. Avoid using excessive water or pressure.
