To calibrate the PowrSpray R962i, ensure the sprayer is on level ground, fill the tank with water, and use the calibration menu on the display. Follow the on-screen instructions to set the correct application rate and speed.
If the nozzle is clogged, first turn off the sprayer. Remove the nozzle and soak it in warm, soapy water. Use a soft brush to gently clean any residue. Rinse thoroughly before reattaching.
Ensure even spraying by regularly checking nozzle output and pattern. Adjust the boom height according to crop height and monitor the speed and pressure settings to maintain uniform coverage.
Regularly inspect the pump for leaks or wear. Ensure all seals and gaskets are intact. Lubricate moving parts as per the manual's recommendations and replace any worn components promptly.
Check the power connections and ensure the battery is charged. Inspect the fuses associated with the control panel and replace any that are blown. Restart the system to see if the issue persists.
Clean the sprayer thoroughly to remove any chemical residues. Drain all water from the system and hoses. Store in a dry, sheltered area to protect from weather damage.
Use the ExactApply system for precise application. Regularly calibrate your equipment and use drift-reducing nozzles. Monitor weather conditions to avoid spraying in windy conditions.
Inspect the electrical connections and valves for each boom section. Ensure that there are no obstructions or blockages in the lines. Check the software settings for correct operation mode.
Filters should be checked and cleaned regularly, especially before the spraying season starts. Replacement is recommended if they show signs of damage or persistent clogging.
To flush the system, fill the tank with clean water and run the pump to circulate the water through the nozzles. Repeat the process until the discharge is clear. Dispose of rinse water according to local regulations.
