Ensure the loader is on level ground. Sit in the operator's seat and fasten the seatbelt. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'Start' position. Release the key once the engine starts.
Park the loader on a level surface and lower all attachments. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool. Locate the hydraulic fluid reservoir, remove the cap, and check the fluid level against the dipstick or sight glass.
Perform routine maintenance every 50 hours of operation or monthly, whichever comes first. This includes checking fluid levels, inspecting belts and hoses, and lubricating moving parts.
Immediately shut off the engine and allow it to cool. Check the coolant level and inspect the radiator for blockages. Ensure that the fan belt is intact and functioning properly.
Regularly maintain the loader by changing air filters, ensuring proper tire inflation, and using the recommended grade of fuel. Operate the loader at optimal RPMs and avoid excessive idling.
Warm up the engine to ensure the oil flows smoothly. Turn off the engine and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to drain completely, replace the plug, and add new oil as specified in the manual.
Inspect all hoses and fittings for visible signs of wear or damage. Tighten any loose connections and replace any damaged components. Check seals and gaskets for integrity.
Check the hydraulic fluid level and ensure it is adequate. Inspect hydraulic hoses and connections for leaks or blockage. Verify that the lift controls are functioning correctly.
Ensure operators are fully trained and familiar with the loader's controls. Always wear protective gear, conduct pre-operation inspections, and adhere to safety guidelines outlined in the manual.
Check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean them if necessary. Ensure the battery connections are tight. Test the battery voltage and replace it if it is below the recommended level.
