Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using fuel with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
Regularly check the oil level, air filter, and spark plug. Change the oil and replace the air filter and spark plug as recommended in the user manual. Ensure the blade is sharp and balanced for optimal performance.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify that the spark plug is connected and not fouled. Also, ensure the air filter is clean and not clogged.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the lever located on the wheel. Move the lever to your desired cutting height position, ensuring all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Always wear protective gear such as gloves and safety glasses. Ensure the area is clear of debris and bystanders. Never operate the mower on wet grass to avoid slipping.
Check that the blade is sharp and balanced. Ensure that all wheels are set to the same height. Inspect the deck for any obstructions or damage that may affect cutting performance.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can lead to clumping and uneven cutting, and it may also pose safety risks due to slippery conditions.
Sharpen the blade at least once per mowing season or more frequently if you notice a decline in cutting performance. Regular sharpening ensures clean cuts and promotes lawn health.
Check for a bent blade or loose components. Make sure the blade is properly balanced and securely attached. Inspect the deck for any foreign objects that might be causing the vibration.
Drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer to prevent engine problems. Clean the mower thoroughly and check for any needed repairs. Store in a dry place and cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
