To clean the cooktop, first ensure it is cool. Remove the burner grates and caps, and wash them in warm, soapy water. Wipe the cooktop surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to prevent damage.
If the oven isn't heating properly, check that it is correctly plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the oven controls are set correctly. If issues persist, inspect the bake element for visible damage or contact a technician for further diagnosis.
To prevent scratches, avoid sliding cookware across the surface. Use pots and pans with smooth bottoms and clean the surface regularly to remove debris that could cause scratching.
For the oven interior, use the self-cleaning function if available. Otherwise, apply a commercial oven cleaner. Ensure proper ventilation and follow the cleaner’s instructions. Wipe down with a damp cloth after cleaning.
To calibrate the oven temperature, press the 'Bake' button and set it to a temperature. Press and hold the 'Bake' button for several seconds until the calibration mode activates. Adjust using the arrow keys and confirm by pressing 'Start'.
An uneven or yellow flame may indicate clogged burner ports. Clean the ports with a straight pin or a needle. Ensure that the burners are properly seated and that the gas supply is adequate.
To convert from natural gas to propane, a conversion kit is required. Follow the instructions provided in the kit carefully, or contact a professional technician to perform the conversion safely.
If the control panel is unresponsive, check for power supply issues. Reset the circuit breaker if necessary. If the panel still doesn't respond, it may need a reset or require professional servicing.
It's recommended to perform routine maintenance checks every 6 months. This includes cleaning the burners, checking for gas leaks, and ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
To replace the oven light, ensure the oven is off and cool. Remove the light cover by turning it counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then replace the cover.
