To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
First, check if the vents are blocked by food items. Ensure the door is sealing properly. If the issue persists, try cleaning the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the fridge.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 to 12 months to ensure efficient operation. Use a vacuum cleaner or a coil brush for best results.
Store raw meats on the lower shelves to prevent contamination. Keep dairy products in the coldest part of the fridge, usually near the back. Use the door for condiments and beverages.
Locate the water filter compartment, typically inside the refrigerator. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
Frost buildup can occur if the freezer door is not closed properly. Ensure the door seal is intact and not damaged. Check if the defrost function is working correctly.
Check if the ice maker is turned on and connected to a water supply. Inspect the water line for any blockages. It might also be helpful to reset the ice maker.
Unplug the refrigerator from the power source. Locate the light cover and remove it. Replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Regularly clean the condenser coils, replace the water filter every 6 months, check door seals for damage, and ensure the refrigerator is level to maintain efficient operation.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not in contact with walls or cabinets. Check for loose items on or inside the refrigerator. If the noise persists, a service technician may need to inspect the compressor or fans.
