Indian Scout Sixty 2021 Rider's Manual

The Indian Scout Sixty 2021 requires unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 (R+M)/2.
It is recommended to change the oil every 5,000 miles or 8,000 kilometers, or once a year, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front tire and 40 psi for the rear tire.
First, check the battery connections and ensure the battery is charged. If the problem persists, inspect the starter relay and fuses.
If the motorcycle overheats, safely stop the bike, let it cool down, and inspect the coolant level. Refill if necessary and check for leaks.
Regularly clean the chain with a suitable cleaner and apply chain lubricant every 500 miles or more frequently in wet conditions.
Store the motorcycle in a dry place, fill the tank with fuel stabilizer, and disconnect the battery. Cover the bike to protect it from dust and moisture.
Refer to the owner's manual for suspension adjustment instructions. Typically, adjustments can be made to the preload settings using the provided tools.
Common signs include squeaking noises, reduced braking performance, and visible wear on the brake pads. Regularly inspect and replace them as needed.
Use mild soap and water to wash the bike. Avoid using high-pressure water, especially around the electrical components. Dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
