To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat dial inside the fridge compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it. The ideal fridge temperature is around 4°C.
First, check if the fridge is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact. Check for any obstructions blocking the vents inside the fridge. If the problem persists, consider defrosting the fridge or consulting a technician.
It is recommended to defrost the fridge every 6 months or when the ice build-up is more than 5mm thick. Regular defrosting helps maintain energy efficiency and cooling performance.
To clean the interior, first turn off and unplug the fridge. Remove all food items and shelves. Use a solution of mild soap and warm water to wipe down the walls and shelves. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Dry thoroughly before reassembling.
Unplug the fridge before changing the bulb. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, usually at the top. Remove the cover by unscrewing or unclipping it. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Unusual noises may be due to the fridge not being level, items touching the interior walls, or the compressor working harder due to high ambient temperatures. Ensure the fridge is level and check for any loose items inside. If the noise persists, consult a technician.
Ensure the fridge is placed away from heat sources and has adequate ventilation. Keep the door seals clean and replace if damaged. Avoid frequent door openings and ensure the temperature settings are appropriate for the contents.
Empty the fridge and clean the interior. Leave the doors slightly ajar to prevent mold and odors. Ensure the fridge is unplugged and stored in a dry, well-ventilated area.
If your fridge model has an alarm, it can usually be reset by closing the door properly or pressing the alarm reset button. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions related to your model.
Ensure the door seals are intact and the door is closed properly. Avoid placing hot or warm items directly into the fridge. Regularly check and clear the drain hole to ensure proper defrosting.
