To start the Husqvarna TS 248G, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blades are disengaged, and the throttle lever is in the choke position. Turn the ignition key to the start position and release it once the engine starts.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and the battery is charged. If the problem persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or at the beginning of each mowing season.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 87 octane and a maximum ethanol content of 10%.
Ensure the mower is off and the spark plug is disconnected. Lift the mower deck and use a wrench to remove the blade bolts. Replace with new blades, ensuring they are installed correctly, and tighten the bolts securely.
Regularly check and replace the oil, clean or replace the air filter, sharpen the blades, and check the tire pressure. Also, inspect belts and battery connections periodically.
Check if the mower deck is level and ensure the blades are sharp and not damaged. Adjust the tire pressure and ensure the grass is not overly wet or too long when mowing.
Stop the mower and allow it to cool down. Check for debris blocking the air intake, ensure the cooling fins are clean, and verify the engine oil level is adequate.
With the mower turned off and the spark plug disconnected, tilt the mower slightly and use a brush to clean off grass clippings and debris. Avoid using water directly as it may cause rust.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and remove the battery for storage in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
