Husqvarna TA1100 Parts Manual

To start the Husqvarna TA1100 Trimmer, ensure the trimmer is on a flat surface. Set the choke lever to the closed position, press the primer bulb six times, and pull the starter cord until the engine fires. Move the choke lever to the open position and pull the starter cord again to start the engine.
Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-stroke oil at a ratio of 50:1 for the Husqvarna TA1100 Trimmer. Ensure the gasoline has an octane rating of at least 89.
To replace the trimmer line, remove the trimmer head cover, take out any remaining line, and insert new line into the designated holes. Wind the line evenly around the spool, then reattach the cover securely.
If the trimmer is not starting, check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Verify the spark plug is clean and properly gapped. Make sure the air filter is clean and not clogged.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter, inspecting and replacing the spark plug annually, checking fuel lines for leaks or cracks, and ensuring the trimmer head is in good condition.
To adjust the idle speed, locate the idle adjustment screw on the carburetor. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease it, until the engine runs smoothly without the trimmer head moving.
If the trimmer vibrates excessively, check for damaged or worn out cutting attachments, ensure the trimmer head is properly balanced, and inspect the drive shaft for bends or damage.
The Husqvarna TA1100 Trimmer is not designed for use with metal blades. Use only the recommended nylon trimmer line to avoid damage to the trimmer and ensure safe operation.
To clean the air filter, remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm soapy water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it. Replace the filter if it is damaged or too dirty to clean.
For off-season storage, empty the fuel tank, run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor, clean the trimmer thoroughly, and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
