Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted. Engage the chain brake by pushing it forward. Press the power button to turn on the chainsaw and wait for the green light. Pull the throttle trigger to start the chain.
Regularly clean the air filter, check the chain tension, inspect the guide bar for wear, and ensure the oiler is functioning. Always use a sharp chain and keep the battery contacts clean.
Check if the battery is fully charged and inserted correctly. Verify the chain brake is engaged, and ensure that the power button is activated. Inspect for any visible damages or obstructions in the chain.
Use a high-quality bar and chain oil, which is specifically designed for chainsaws. Avoid using motor oil as it doesn't provide adequate lubrication for the chain and can damage the saw.
Store the battery at room temperature and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Use the Eco mode for lighter tasks to conserve energy and charge the battery before it is completely drained.
Turn the chainsaw off and engage the chain brake. Use the tensioning screw to adjust the chain until it fits snugly against the guide bar but can still be moved by hand. Tighten the bar nuts once adjusted.
Wear appropriate protective gear including gloves, goggles, and hearing protection. Ensure the work area is clear of obstacles and maintain a firm grip on the saw with both hands while operating.
Remove the bar and chain from the saw. Clean the groove and oil holes with a scraper or brush. Check for any burrs and file them flat. Reassemble ensuring proper tension.
Ensure you're using the correct chain for your cutting tasks and avoid cutting dirty or debris-laden wood. Regularly sharpen the chain and check for any alignment issues with the guide bar.
Clean the chainsaw thoroughly, remove the battery, and store it separately in a cool, dry place. Cover the guide bar and chain with a protective sheath to prevent damage.
