Husqvarna PZ 54 966 614003-02 Parts Manual

To start the Husqvarna PZ 54, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blades are disengaged, and the throttle is in the choke position. Turn the ignition key to the start position and release it once the engine starts.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, inspect the spark plug for damage, and verify that the safety switches are engaged properly.
It's recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season thereafter.
Use SAE 30 motor oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
Regularly inspect the blades for damage and sharpen them every 25 hours of use or when dull. Replace blades if they are bent or severely damaged.
Use a garden hose to wash off grass clippings and debris from the mower deck. Ensure the engine is off and the spark plug wire is disconnected before cleaning.
Check if the tire pressure is even, the deck is level, and the blades are sharp. Adjust as necessary to ensure an even cut.
Ensure the cooling fins are clean and free of debris, check the oil level, and make sure the air intake screen is not blocked.
Locate the air filter cover, remove it, take out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the cover is securely reattached.
Perform a general inspection before each use, change the oil every 50 hours, replace the air filter annually, and inspect the blades regularly.
