The Husqvarna LF 130 LT requires unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87.
The air filter should be checked before each use and cleaned every 3 months or more frequently in dusty conditions.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is functioning, and verify that the fuel valve is open. If it still doesn't start, consult the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Use the compactor with proper gloves and take regular breaks. Ensure the handle is securely fastened and maintain a firm grip to reduce vibrations.
After every 100 hours of operation, change the engine oil, inspect the spark plug, and check for any loose bolts or components.
Clean the compactor, drain the fuel, and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
To change the engine oil, run the engine until warm, turn it off, and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the old oil to drain completely, replace the drain plug, and fill with the recommended oil type to the correct level.
It is not recommended to use the compactor on excessively wet surfaces as it may cause slippage and uneven compaction. Allow the surface to drain and dry before compacting.
Wear appropriate safety gear including ear and eye protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Ensure the area is clear of bystanders and avoid operating on unstable surfaces.
Check the belt tension and ensure it's not worn out. Inspect the exciter unit for any signs of damage or wear and replace parts as necessary.
