To start the Husqvarna HU625HWT trimmer, ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct fuel mixture. Set the choke lever to the 'Start' position, press the primer bulb several times until it fills with fuel, pull the starter rope until the engine fires, then move the choke lever to the 'Run' position.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87, mixed with high-quality 2-cycle engine oil at a ratio of 50:1.
To replace the trimmer line, first turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire. Remove the trimmer head cap, then take out the old line. Insert the new line, following the directional arrows on the spool, and reattach the cap securely.
If the engine won't start, check the fuel level and quality, ensure the spark plug is in good condition, and verify that the air filter is clean. Also, make sure the choke is set correctly and the primer bulb is functioning.
Perform maintenance regularly by checking the air filter and spark plug every 25 hours of use, cleaning the cooling fins and air intake, and inspecting the fuel filter periodically. Replace parts as needed.
Frequent line breakage can occur if the line is too brittle, the trimmer head is improperly installed, or the line is hitting hard surfaces. Use the recommended line type and ensure it is installed correctly, avoiding contact with rocks or concrete.
To clean the air filter, remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. Ensure the filter is seated properly before securing the cover.
Before storing the trimmer for winter, drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, clean the trimmer thoroughly, and store it in a dry, cool place. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced trimmer head, damaged cutting components, or loose parts. Inspect the trimmer head for damage, ensure it is balanced, and check for any loose bolts or components.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on the wheels. Move the levers to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting height. Ensure both sides are adjusted evenly for a uniform cut.
