To start the Husqvarna H435E chainsaw, ensure the chain brake is engaged, switch the ignition to "on," pull the choke out, and pull the starter handle until the engine fires. Then, push the choke in and pull the starter again until the engine starts.
Use a high-quality unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 90 and mix it with Husqvarna two-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 50:1.
Sharpen the chain whenever you notice a decrease in cutting efficiency, such as when the saw produces fine sawdust instead of large chips. Regular maintenance is recommended after every few hours of use.
Check the fuel level and quality, ensure the spark plug is clean and functioning, examine the air filter for blockages, and verify that the ignition switch is on. If issues persist, consult a professional technician.
Clean the air filter regularly by removing it and washing it in warm, soapy water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting it into the chainsaw. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
Ensure the chain brake is not engaged. Check for any obstructions in the chain or bar and ensure the chain is properly tensioned. If problems persist, inspect the clutch and drive system for issues.
Loosen the bar nuts slightly, adjust the tensioning screw until the chain fits snugly against the bar but can still be pulled around by hand. Tighten the bar nuts once the tension is correct.
Wear protective gear including a helmet with face shield, ear protection, chainsaw chaps or pants, gloves, and sturdy boots to ensure safety while operating the chainsaw.
Clean the chainsaw thoroughly, empty the fuel tank, and remove the chain and bar. Store them in a dry, secure place. Consider adding a protective oil to prevent rust on the metal parts.
Regularly check and clean the air filter, inspect and sharpen the chain, examine the bar for wear, check the spark plug, and ensure all nuts and bolts are tight. Regular maintenance will prolong the life of your chainsaw.
