To start your Husqvarna H135 Chainsaw, ensure the chain brake is engaged. Place the saw on a flat surface, switch the ignition on, pull out the choke, and pull the starter rope until the engine fires. Push the choke in and pull the starter again until the engine starts.
The Husqvarna H135 Chainsaw requires a 50:1 fuel mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality two-stroke engine oil.
To tension the chain, turn the chainsaw off and loosen the bar nuts slightly. Use the tensioning screw to adjust the chain until it fits snugly against the bar but can still be pulled around by hand. Retighten the bar nuts afterward.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter, checking and sharpening the chain, inspecting the bar for wear, and ensuring the chain brake functions properly. Always refer to the user manual for detailed instructions.
If the chainsaw won’t start, check the fuel level and ensure it is fresh. Inspect the spark plug for fouling and clean or replace it if necessary. Verify that the air filter is clean and that the choke is correctly set.
Sharpen the chain every time you refuel or whenever you notice decreased cutting performance. Use a round file with the correct diameter for your chain.
Always wear protective gear such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection. Ensure the chain brake is engaged when starting. Keep both hands on the saw during operation and be aware of your surroundings.
Turn off the chainsaw and remove the top cover. Take out the air filter and use compressed air to blow away debris. If it's heavily soiled, wash it in soapy water, rinse, and allow it to dry before reinstalling.
Clean the saw thoroughly and empty the fuel tank. Store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the chain is lubricated to prevent rusting.
Ensure the chain is properly tensioned and that the bar nuts are tight. Check for wear on the bar and sprocket, and replace these parts if necessary. Inspect the chain for damage or stretching.
