To start the Husqvarna 6521CM, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the oil level is adequate, and the spark plug is connected. Engage the safety handle, pull the starter rope gently until resistance is felt, then pull briskly to start the engine.
Check the fuel level and quality, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, inspect the air filter for clogs, and verify that the safety handle is engaged.
Perform oil changes every 25 hours of use, clean or replace the air filter every 25 hours, sharpen the blade every 25 hours, and check the spark plug annually.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired height setting, ensuring all wheels are set to the same level.
Excessive vibration may indicate a damaged blade, loose hardware, or an unbalanced blade. Inspect the blade for damage, tighten any loose parts, and balance the blade if necessary.
Disconnect the spark plug for safety. Tip the mower onto its side, ensuring the air filter faces up. Use a brush or hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the mower deck.
Use SAE 30 oil for most temperatures. If operating in temperatures below freezing, a synthetic SAE 5W-30 oil is recommended for improved performance.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a socket wrench to remove the old spark plug, and install a new one with the correct gap setting. Reconnect the spark plug wire securely.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, drain the fuel or add a stabilizer, remove the spark plug and add a small amount of oil to the cylinder, and store the mower in a dry place.
Use a blade balancer to check for balance. If one side dips lower, remove additional material from the heavier side until the blade balances evenly on the tool.
