To start the Husqvarna 355RX Brushcutter, ensure the choke is in the closed position. Prime the fuel bulb until it fills with fuel, then pull the starter handle until the engine fires. Open the choke and pull the starter handle again until the engine starts.
Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 50:1. Ensure the gasoline has an octane rating of at least 89.
To replace the trimmer line, remove the trimmer head by unscrewing it. Cut a length of line, fold it in half, and insert the loop into the slot on the trimmer head. Wind the line evenly in the direction of the arrows, then secure the ends in the slots. Reattach the trimmer head.
Excessive vibration might be due to a damaged or unbalanced cutting attachment. Inspect the blade or trimmer head for damage and ensure it is properly balanced and attached. Replace if necessary.
Routine maintenance should be performed every 25 hours of operation. This includes cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and ensuring all nuts and bolts are tight.
To store the brushcutter for the winter, empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops. Clean the tool thoroughly and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
If the brushcutter won't start, check the fuel level and ensure it's fresh. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Verify that the air filter is clean, and ensure all controls are in the correct starting position.
Always wear protective gear, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Keep bystanders at a safe distance and be aware of your surroundings to avoid obstacles and debris.
Loosen the handlebar clamp screws and adjust the handlebar to a comfortable height. Ensure the handlebar is centered, then tighten the screws securely.
If the engine stalls, check for fuel supply issues or clogged fuel filters. Ensure the air filter is clean and the spark plug is in good condition. Adjust the carburetor settings if necessary.
