To start the Husqvarna 345 FX, ensure that the brushcutter is on a flat surface. Set the choke to the closed position, press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible, and pull the starter handle until the engine fires. Once it fires, move the choke to the open position and pull the starter handle again to start the engine.
Use a 50:1 fuel mix ratio of unleaded gasoline to high-quality two-stroke engine oil. Ensure that the gasoline has an octane rating of at least 89 and that the oil is JASO-FD certified for optimal performance and engine longevity.
Excessive vibration may be due to a misaligned or damaged cutting attachment. Check the blade or trimmer head for damage or imbalance, and ensure that it is securely attached. Replace any worn or damaged parts and verify that all components are properly tightened.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned after every 25 hours of use or more frequently in dusty conditions. Use warm soapy water to clean the filter, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter, checking and replacing the spark plug annually, inspecting the fuel filter and fuel lines, tightening all nuts and bolts, and lubricating the gearhead as recommended in the user manual.
If the brushcutter won't start, check the fuel level and quality, inspect the spark plug for fouling or damage, ensure the air filter is clean, and verify that the choke and throttle are set correctly. Additionally, check for any blockages in the exhaust and fuel lines.
To replace the trimmer line, remove the trimmer head cover, take out any remaining line, and insert new line into the spool. Wind the line evenly according to the directional arrows and reattach the cover securely.
Always wear protective gear including gloves, eye protection, boots, and hearing protection. Be aware of your surroundings, ensure the work area is clear of people and obstacles, and never use the brushcutter near flammable materials.
To store the brushcutter for the winter, empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops. Clean the equipment thoroughly, lubricate metal parts to prevent rust, and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
Power loss may be due to a clogged air filter, dirty spark plug, or fuel issues. Clean or replace the air filter, inspect the spark plug for fouling, and ensure that the fuel is fresh and the correct mixture. Check for blockages in the exhaust system as well.
