To start the Husqvarna 336RK Brushcutter, ensure the stop switch is in the 'ON' position. Prime the engine by pressing the primer bulb until fuel is visible. Set the choke lever to the 'START' position if the engine is cold. Pull the starter handle until the engine fires, then push the choke to the 'RUN' position and pull again to start.
Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-stroke oil in a 50:1 ratio. Ensure the gasoline has an octane rating of at least 89 and the 2-stroke oil is designed for air-cooled engines.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel is fresh. Inspect the spark plug for fouling and replace if necessary. Ensure the air filter is clean and not clogged. Verify that the stop switch is not engaged.
Clean the air filter after every 25 hours of use or more frequently in dusty conditions. Wash the filter in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry before reinstallation.
Regular maintenance includes checking and replacing the spark plug annually, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the fuel filter, and checking the cutting attachment for wear and damage.
To replace the trimmer line, remove the spool from the trimmer head, insert the new line into the spool, winding it in the direction indicated by the arrows on the spool. Reassemble the spool into the trimmer head.
If cutting performance decreases, check the trimmer line for wear or damage and replace it if necessary. Ensure the cutting attachment is properly installed and not worn out. If using a blade, sharpen it or replace it to improve performance.
For off-season storage, empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor of fuel. Clean the brushcutter thoroughly and store it in a dry, cool place.
Always wear protective gear, including eye protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Be aware of your surroundings, and avoid using the brushcutter near people or pets. Follow all safety instructions in the user manual.
Loosen the handlebar adjustment knob, position the handlebar to a comfortable height and angle, and then tighten the knob securely to ensure it remains in place during operation.
