To start the Husqvarna 335LS Trimmer, ensure the choke is in the closed position for a cold start. Press the primer bulb 6 times, set the trimmer on a flat surface, hold the handle with one hand, and pull the starter rope with the other until the engine fires. Then, move the choke to the open position and pull the rope again to start.
The recommended fuel mixture for the Husqvarna 335LS Trimmer is 50:1, which means 2.6 ounces of two-stroke oil for every gallon of unleaded gasoline.
To replace the trimmer line, turn off the trimmer and disconnect the spark plug wire. Remove the spool cap on the trimmer head, take out any remaining line, and then insert the new line by following the directional arrows on the spool. Ensure both ends of the line are equal and feed them through the eyelets before securing the cap.
If the trimmer is not cutting properly, check if the trimmer line is worn out or too short. Replace or extend the line as needed. Also, ensure the line is properly wound on the spool and that the trimmer head is not clogged with debris.
If the engine won't start, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel mixture is correct. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Additionally, ensure the air filter is clean and that the carburetor is not clogged.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned every 5 hours of operation. If you use the trimmer in dusty conditions, clean it more frequently. Replace the filter if it shows signs of damage or excessive dirt build-up.
After each use, clean the trimmer head and air filter area to remove grass clippings and debris. Check for any loose screws or parts, and inspect the trimmer line for wear. Store the trimmer in a dry place.
To prevent the trimmer line from breaking, avoid hitting hard surfaces such as concrete or rocks. Use the trimmer at the recommended speed, and ensure the line is the correct thickness and type for your model.
Tangling can occur if the line is wound unevenly on the spool. Make sure to wind the line tightly and evenly, and always follow the directional arrows on the spool. This will help prevent tangling during operation.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced or damaged trimmer head. Inspect the head for damage, ensure the trimmer line is properly installed, and tighten any loose components. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
