To start the Husqvarna 326 LS Trimmer, ensure the trimmer is on a flat surface. Set the choke to the start position, prime the engine by pressing the primer bulb 6 times, pull the starter cord until the engine fires, then set the choke to the run position and pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
The Husqvarna 326 LS Trimmer requires a fuel mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality two-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 50:1. Always use fresh, unleaded fuel with a minimum octane rating of 87.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned every 25 hours of operation or whenever you notice a decrease in performance. Replace the air filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
To replace the trimmer line, remove the trimmer head cover, take out any remaining line, and insert new line through the holes. Wind the line evenly onto the spool, secure it in the notches, and reattach the cover.
The trimmer may stall due to a clogged air filter, old fuel, or an improperly adjusted carburetor. Clean or replace the air filter, use fresh fuel, and adjust the carburetor according to the manual.
Check the fuel level and quality, inspect the spark plug for damage or wear, ensure the air filter is clean, and verify that the carburetor is adjusted correctly. Replace or clean components as necessary.
Regularly inspect the cutting head for wear and damage. Clean it after each use to remove debris and grass buildup. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately to maintain optimal performance.
Always wear protective gear, including eye and ear protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear. Be aware of your surroundings and avoid using the trimmer near people, pets, or obstacles.
To change the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug, and replace it with a new one of the correct type and gap. Reattach the spark plug wire securely.
A general maintenance schedule includes checking and cleaning the air filter every 25 hours, inspecting the spark plug every 100 hours, and replacing the fuel filter annually. Additionally, check the trimmer head and other components regularly for wear and damage.
