To start the Husqvarna 122LD Trimmer, ensure the choke is closed, press the primer bulb 6 times, set the trimmer on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Once started, open the choke gradually.
The Husqvarna 122LD Trimmer requires a fuel mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-cycle oil at a ratio of 50:1.
The trimmer line should be replaced when it becomes too short or damaged. Regular inspection and replacement can ensure optimal performance.
If the engine won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is functional, verify that the air filter is clean, and inspect the fuel lines for any blockages or leaks.
Excessive vibration can be caused by a misaligned or damaged cutting attachment. Check for any debris caught in the trimmer head and inspect the shaft for damage.
To clean the air filter, remove the filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm soapy water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
Perform a general inspection before each use, clean the air filter every 10 hours of operation, replace the spark plug annually, and regularly check and replace the trimmer line as needed.
To replace the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug, and install a new one of the correct type and gap. Reattach the spark plug wire after installation.
If the trimmer line doesn't feed properly, check for tangles or jams in the trimmer head, ensure the line is wound correctly, and verify that the line is not too short.
For off-season storage, empty the fuel tank, clean the trimmer thoroughly, inspect for any maintenance needs, and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
