To start the Husqvarna 1130STE lawn mower, ensure it is on a flat surface. Check that the fuel tank is filled and that the oil level is adequate. Engage the choke if the engine is cold, set the throttle to the starting position, and pull the starter rope firmly.
If the engine won't start, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel is fresh. Verify the spark plug condition and clean or replace it if necessary. Make sure the air filter is clean and not clogged.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours of operation or at least once a season. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
To clean the deck, ensure the mower is off and cooled down. Tilt the mower on its side with the air filter facing up to prevent oil leakage. Use a hose to spray off grass clippings and debris, then wipe down with a cloth.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position, ensuring all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
At the end of the season, drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, clean the air filter, check the spark plug, and clean the mower deck. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area.
To replace the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire and use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug. Check the gap on the new spark plug, install it carefully, and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade, loose parts, or debris in the mower deck. Check and tighten any loose bolts, clean out the deck, and inspect the blade for damage or imbalance.
To improve fuel efficiency, regularly maintain the mower by changing the oil, cleaning the air filter, and ensuring the spark plug is in good condition. Also, mow at the recommended speed and avoid cutting wet grass.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
