To set the temperature on your Honeywell CT2800 thermostat, press the 'Up' or 'Down' arrow buttons on the device until you reach your desired temperature.
To program a daily schedule, press the 'Program' button, select the day you wish to set, then use the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to set the time and temperature for each period. Press 'Program' again to move to the next period.
If the display is not turning on, check to ensure the thermostat is properly connected to power. Replace the batteries if necessary, and ensure circuit breakers are not tripped.
To reset your thermostat, turn it off, remove the batteries, and wait for about 10 seconds. Reinsert the batteries and turn the thermostat back on.
Ensure that the thermostat is set to the correct mode (heat or cool) and that the program schedule is correctly configured. Check for any overrides or holds that may have been set.
To switch modes, press the 'Mode' button on your CT2800 thermostat until the desired mode (heat or cool) is displayed.
A flashing display can indicate a low battery. Replace the batteries with fresh ones to resolve the issue.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds until the lock icon appears on the display.
It is recommended to change the batteries at least once a year, or sooner if the low battery indicator appears on the display.
The Honeywell CT2800 is designed for single-stage heating and cooling systems. It is not compatible with multi-stage HVAC systems.
