It is recommended to change the oil every 4,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
The recommended tire pressure is 29 psi for the front tire and 36 psi for the rear tire. Proper tire pressure ensures optimal handling and tire longevity.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance such as timely oil changes, use recommended fuel grade, maintain proper tire pressure, and avoid rapid acceleration and excessive idling.
First, check the battery connections and charge level. Ensure the fuel valve is open, and the engine kill switch is set to 'Run'. If it still doesn't start, inspect the spark plugs and consult a professional if necessary.
For winter storage, clean the bike thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank, add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and cover the motorcycle to protect it from dust and moisture.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant specifically designed for aluminum engines, mixed with distilled water in a 50/50 ratio.
To adjust the chain tension, place the bike on the center stand, loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain tensioners evenly on both sides, and retighten the axle nut while ensuring proper chain slack (20-30mm).
The air filter should be inspected every 8,000 miles and replaced every 16,000 miles or as needed, especially if you ride in dusty conditions.
To check the brake fluid level, locate the brake fluid reservoir, ensure the motorcycle is on a level surface, and check that the fluid level is between the minimum and maximum marks on the reservoir.
If the headlights are dim, check the battery charge level and connections, inspect the headlight bulbs for wear, and clean the headlight lens. Replace the bulbs if necessary.
