You should use SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 API SG or higher, JASO T903 MA standard motor oil for optimal performance.
To check the engine oil level, warm up the engine, stop it, remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert without screwing, and then remove it again to check the level. Ensure it is between the upper and lower marks.
The recommended tire pressure is 3.6 psi (25 kPa) for both front and rear tires.
The air filter should be inspected every 200 miles (320 km) or 1 month, whichever comes first. Clean or replace it if necessary based on the condition.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the engine stop switch is in the "Run" position. Verify that the battery is charged and connections are tight. If problems persist, examine the spark plug and fuel system.
To store the ATV, clean it thoroughly, stabilize the fuel, change the oil, lubricate moving parts, and disconnect the battery. Store it in a dry, covered place and lift the tires off the ground if possible.
Signs include squealing noises, reduced braking performance, longer stopping distances, and abnormal brake lever or pedal feel. Inspect brake pads and fluid levels regularly.
The suspension can be adjusted by changing the preload on the shock absorbers. Use the appropriate wrench to turn the adjustment collar to increase or decrease preload based on the terrain.
Regular maintenance should be performed at 100, 200, and 400 miles (160, 320, and 640 km) or 1, 3, and 6 months, with comprehensive checks every 1200 miles (1920 km) or annually.
Start by checking the battery voltage and connections. Inspect fuses for any that are blown. Examine wiring for damage or corrosion, and ensure all connectors are secure.
