It is recommended to use SAE 10W-30 API classification SG or higher motor oil. Make sure it is specifically designed for use in four-stroke engines.
An oil change should be performed every 100 hours of operation or at least once a year, whichever comes first. Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.
Check the battery connections to ensure they are tight and corrosion-free. If the battery is charged and connections are clean, inspect the starter relay and the ignition switch for any faults.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 4.4 psi and for the rear tires is 3.6 psi. Proper tire pressure ensures better handling and longevity.
To adjust the idle speed, locate the idle adjustment screw on the carburetor. Turn it clockwise to increase the idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease it, aiming for an idle speed of approximately 1400 ± 100 rpm.
Ensure that the radiator is not clogged with debris and that the coolant level is adequate. Check the fan operation and inspect the thermostat. If problems persist, consult a professional mechanic.
Regularly check the brake fluid level and top it up if necessary. Inspect the brake pads for wear and replace them if they are worn out. Ensure the brake cables and levers are lubricated and functioning smoothly.
Remove the air filter, clean it with a mild detergent and water, then allow it to dry completely. Afterwards, apply a light coat of foam air filter oil before reinstalling it.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular engine tune-ups, and ensure the air filter is clean. Avoid carrying unnecessary weight and try to ride at moderate speeds to maximize fuel efficiency.
Check the transmission fluid level regularly and change it as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Inspect the transmission for any signs of leaks and ensure the shift linkage is properly adjusted.
