For optimal performance, use SAE 10W-30 Pro Honda GN4 4-stroke oil or equivalent oil that meets or exceeds the requirements for API service classification SG, SH, SJ, or higher.
The engine oil should be changed every 100 hours of operation or every 600 miles, whichever comes first. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific maintenance schedules.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 9 psi, and for the rear tires, it is 12 psi. Always check tire pressure when the tires are cold.
First, check the battery connections and ensure they are clean and tight. Verify the battery is charged. If the problem persists, inspect the starter motor and ignition switch. Consult a professional if needed.
If the engine overheats, stop the vehicle immediately and allow it to cool down. Check coolant levels and inspect for any leaks. Ensure the radiator is not blocked and the cooling fan is functioning.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it with a mild detergent and water, then let it dry completely. Apply air filter oil before reinstalling. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions.
Clean the UTV thoroughly, change the oil, and fill the fuel tank with a stabilizer. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the UTV to protect it from dust and moisture.
To adjust the brakes, locate the brake adjuster on each wheel. Turn the adjuster to tighten or loosen the brake cable until you achieve the desired brake response. Test the brakes thoroughly after adjustment.
Check the air filter and fuel filter for blockages. Ensure the throttle cable is properly adjusted and inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. Cleaning or replacing these components can improve performance.
Remove the spark plug cap and use a spark plug wrench to unscrew the old spark plug. Check the gap on the new spark plug and install it by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with the wrench. Reattach the spark plug cap.
