The Honda PCX150 2018 is designed to run on unleaded gasoline with a pump octane number of 86 or higher.
The engine oil should be changed every 4,000 miles or 6,400 kilometers, or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure is 29 psi for the front tire and 33 psi for the rear tire.
Check the battery for sufficient charge, ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position, and verify the side stand is up. If problems persist, consult a professional mechanic.
Use SAE 10W-30, JASO T 903 standard MA certified engine oil for optimal performance.
The rear suspension can be adjusted by using a spanner wrench to rotate the spring preload adjuster located on the rear shock absorber.
Regular maintenance should be performed at 600 miles (1,000 km) for the initial service and every 4,000 miles (6,400 km) thereafter. This includes checking brakes, oil, and filters.
To replace the headlight bulb, remove the front cover by unscrewing it, disconnect the electrical connector, and replace the bulb with an H4 type. Reassemble by reversing the procedure.
If overheating occurs, stop the scooter safely, turn off the engine, and allow it to cool. Check the coolant level and fan operation. If the issue persists, seek professional assistance.
For winter storage, clean the scooter thoroughly, fill the fuel tank, add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, and store it in a dry place. Disconnect the battery and cover the scooter to protect it from dust.
