The recommended oil for the Honda NC750X 2018 is SAE 10W-30, API classification SG or higher, JASO T 903 standard MA.
It is recommended to change the oil every 8,000 miles (12,800 km) or 12 months, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi (250 kPa) for the front tire and 42 psi (290 kPa) for the rear tire.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters on both sides equally, and ensure the chain slack is within 1.2–1.6 inches (30–40 mm). Tighten the axle nut after adjustment.
Check the battery connections, ensure the kill switch is set to "Run", verify there's fuel in the tank, and inspect the fuses. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
Maintain proper tire pressure, use recommended engine oil, ride smoothly without aggressive acceleration, and ensure regular maintenance checks.
Regular maintenance includes oil changes every 8,000 miles, air filter cleaning every 12,000 miles, and valve clearance checks every 16,000 miles. Refer to the owner's manual for a detailed schedule.
To access the battery, remove the seat using the seat release lever, then locate the battery compartment beneath the seat.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based antifreeze coolant with corrosion inhibitors specifically formulated for aluminum engines.
To reset the service light, turn the ignition to the "Off" position, hold down the trip button, turn the ignition "On", and continue to hold the button until the light resets.
