For the Honda GX630 LPG 2014 engine, it is recommended to use SAE 10W-30 oil for general use. For temperatures below -10°C, SAE 5W-30 is advisable.
It is recommended to change the oil every 100 hours of operation or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
The proper spark plug gap for the Honda GX630 LPG engine is 0.028-0.031 inches (0.7-0.8 mm).
Check the fuel supply and ensure the LPG tank is full. Inspect the spark plug and clean or replace if necessary. Verify the ignition switch and wiring connections.
The valve clearance for the Honda GX630 LPG engine should be 0.15 mm (0.006 in) for both intake and exhaust when the engine is cold.
Check the air filter every 25 hours of use. Clean the filter with compressed air or replace it if it's excessively dirty or damaged.
Ensure the cooling fins and air intake screens are clean. Check for obstructions in the cooling system and verify the engine is not overloaded.
Regular maintenance, such as keeping the air filter clean, ensuring proper tire pressure in wheeled equipment, and maintaining correct valve clearance, can improve fuel efficiency.
Before storing, clean the engine thoroughly, change the oil, and lubricate all moving parts. Disconnect the battery and store it in a dry location.
Remove the spark plug and insert a compression gauge. Crank the engine several times and check the gauge reading. Normal compression should be above 100 psi.
