Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 86 or higher to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation and then every 50 hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
The correct spark plug gap for the Honda GX120 engine is 0.7-0.8 mm (0.028-0.031 inches).
Check the fuel level, ensure the choke is in the correct position, inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, and verify that the engine switch is in the ON position.
Ensure the air intake is not obstructed, check the oil level, and make sure the engine is not overloaded. Allow the engine to cool down before restarting.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter element, clean it with soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and checking for fuel and oil leaks.
Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position, remove the fuel tank cap, and drain the gasoline into a suitable container. Run the engine until it stops to use up any remaining fuel in the system.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for general use. For temperatures above 60°F (15°C), you may use SAE 30.
Perform regular maintenance, use high-quality fuel and oil, avoid overloading, and store the engine in a clean, dry place when not in use.
