Honda GX100 Rammer Type 2007 Owner's Manual

To start the engine, ensure the fuel valve is open, set the choke to the closed position, turn the engine switch to 'ON', and pull the starter grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil, which is recommended for general use. Ensure the oil is API service category SJ or later.
Change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 100 hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
The recommended spark plug is NGK BP6ES or an equivalent. Ensure the spark plug gap is set to 0.028-0.031 inches (0.70-0.80 mm).
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify the choke position is correct for starting, inspect the spark plug for damage or fouling, and ensure the on/off switch is set to 'ON'.
Check for obstructions in the cooling fins and air intake area. Ensure there is adequate ventilation and that the engine is not overloaded.
Clean the air filter every 25 hours of use. Use soapy water to clean foam filters and let them dry. Replace paper filters if they are excessively dirty.
To check the oil level, place the engine on a level surface, remove the oil filler cap, and wipe the dipstick clean. Insert the dipstick without screwing it in, then remove it to check the oil level.
Regular maintenance, such as cleaning the air filter, checking the spark plug, and using fresh fuel, can improve fuel efficiency. Avoid overloading the engine.
Black smoke usually indicates a rich fuel mixture. Check and clean the air filter, ensure the choke is in the correct position, and inspect the carburetor settings.
