To perform an oil change, warm up the engine for a few minutes, then turn it off. Place a drain pan under the engine, remove the oil drain bolt, and let the oil drain completely. Replace the drain bolt and remove the oil filter. Install a new filter, then refill with the recommended oil type.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tire is 36 psi and for the rear tire is 41 psi. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Start by checking the fuse box for any blown fuses. Inspect the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure all connections are tight. Use a multimeter to check the battery voltage and alternator output. If problems persist, consult a professional.
Loosen the lock nut on the clutch lever adjuster. Turn the adjuster screw to achieve the desired free play (typically 10-20 mm or 0.4-0.8 inches). Tighten the lock nut after adjusting.
Regularly inspect the coolant level and top it up if necessary with the recommended coolant type. Check hoses for leaks or damage. Flush and replace the coolant every 24,000 miles or every two years.
Remove the seat and the necessary panels to access the air cleaner housing. Open the housing, remove the old air filter, and install the new one. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
Maintain proper tire pressure, use high-quality fuel, perform regular maintenance, and avoid aggressive braking and acceleration. Additionally, reduce excess weight and minimize idling.
Check the battery for charge and connections. Inspect the starter motor and relay. Verify that the kill switch is in the "Run" position. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to consult a mechanic.
Inspect brake pads and discs every 6,000 miles for wear. Replace pads if they are less than 1.5 mm thick. Brake fluid should be replaced every two years or 24,000 miles.
The recommended oil type is SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40, JASO T 903 MA standard. Always check the owner’s manual for the most accurate information.
