The recommended oil type for the Honda CRF50F 2014 is 10W-30, JASO T 903 standard MA.
It is advised to change the oil every 6 months or every 600 miles, whichever comes first.
The correct tire pressure is 15 psi for both front and rear tires.
To adjust the idle speed, locate the idle adjustment screw on the carburetor and turn it clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed.
The spark plug gap should be set to 0.6-0.7 mm (0.024-0.028 inches).
To clean the air filter, remove the air filter cover, take out the filter element, wash it with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry before re-oiling and reinstalling.
Check the fuel level, ensure the fuel valve is open, verify the kill switch is set to 'run', inspect the spark plug, and check the battery connections and charge if necessary.
For winter storage, clean the bike thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and keep the bike stored in a cool, dry place.
During regular maintenance, check the oil level, tire pressure, brake function, chain tension, and lubrication, as well as inspect for any loose bolts or parts.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the rear axle nut, turn the adjusters on each side of the swingarm equally, then tighten the axle nut once the desired tension is achieved.
