For optimal performance, it's recommended to change the oil every 15 hours of riding or after every race. Always use the oil grade specified in the owner’s manual.
The recommended tire pressure is approximately 12 psi for the front tire and 12 psi for the rear tire, depending on terrain and rider preference.
To adjust the suspension, refer to the owner’s manual for the suspension settings chart. Adjust the compression and rebound damping to suit the terrain, and ensure the sag is set correctly for your weight.
Common starting issues may include a faulty spark plug or a clogged fuel injector. Ensure the battery is fully charged and check the spark plug for wear. Clean or replace the injector if necessary.
Regularly inspect and clean the air filter after every ride, especially in dusty conditions. Wash the filter with a mild detergent, let it dry completely, and apply air filter oil before reinstalling.
The proper chain tension should allow for about 1.2 to 1.6 inches (30-40 mm) of slack at the midpoint between the front and rear sprockets. Adjust as needed and regularly check for wear.
Start by checking the battery connections and ensure they are clean and tight. Inspect the fuses and replace any that are blown. Check the wiring for any signs of damage or corrosion.
Regularly check the brake pads for wear and replace them if they are below the minimum thickness. Inspect and clean the brake calipers, and ensure the brake fluid is at the correct level and is free of contaminants.
Performance can be improved by regular maintenance, optimizing suspension settings, using high-quality fuel, and upgrading parts such as the exhaust, air filter, and ECU mapping.
If the motorcycle overheats, stop riding and allow the engine to cool. Check the coolant level and look for leaks. Ensure the radiator is free from obstructions and the radiator cap is functioning properly.
