Honda CMX300 Rebel 300 2019 Operation Guide

The recommended oil type for the Honda CMX300 Rebel 300 2019 is SAE 10W-30, JASO T 903 standard MA.
It is recommended to change the oil every 8,000 miles or 12,800 kilometers, or at least once a year.
To adjust the chain tension, first place the motorcycle on its side stand. Loosen the rear axle nut, then use the adjuster bolts on either side to evenly adjust the chain tension. The recommended slack is 25-35 mm (1.0-1.4 inches). Tighten the axle nut securely after adjusting.
The correct tire pressure for the front tire is 29 psi and for the rear tire is 36 psi.
Start by checking the battery connections and fuses. Ensure the battery is charged and in good condition. Inspect wiring and connectors for corrosion or damage. If the problem persists, refer to the service manual for further diagnostics or consult a professional mechanic.
Brake pads should be replaced when the pad material thickness is less than 1.5 mm (0.06 inches), or if you hear a squealing noise while braking. Regular inspections are recommended every 4,000 miles or 6,400 kilometers.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean as needed. Ensure the battery is securely mounted and keep it charged, especially during periods of inactivity. Using a battery tender can help maintain charge.
Check the kill switch and ensure it is in the run position. Verify the bike is in neutral, and the side stand is up. Check the battery charge and connections. If it still won't start, check the fuses and consult the owner's manual for further troubleshooting.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the air filter. If it's a reusable type, clean it with soap and water or an air filter cleaning solution, then allow it to dry completely. Reinstall the filter and cover. If it's a paper filter, replace it if it's dirty or damaged.
Clean the bike thoroughly to prevent corrosion. Change the oil and filter, and fill the gas tank with fresh fuel and a fuel stabilizer. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure. Disconnect the battery and store it on a trickle charger. Cover the motorcycle with a breathable cover and store it in a dry place.
