It is recommended to change the oil every 8,000 miles or at least once a year, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
For optimal performance, use SAE 10W-30, API service classification SG or higher, or JASO T 903 standard MA oil.
Check the battery for charge and connections. Ensure the kill switch is in the run position and the fuel is sufficient. If the bike still doesn't start, inspect the spark plugs and fuses.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front and 42 psi for the rear tire. Proper tire pressure is essential for safe handling and fuel efficiency.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain tensioner bolts equally on both sides, and ensure the chain slack is within the specified range (20-30 mm). Tighten the axle nut after adjustment.
Regular maintenance includes: oil change every 8,000 miles, air filter inspection every 12,000 miles, spark plug replacement every 16,000 miles, and brake fluid replacement every 2 years.
Use a motorcycle-specific chain cleaner to remove dirt and grime. After cleaning, apply chain lubricant evenly while rotating the rear wheel. Avoid over-lubricating to prevent dirt accumulation.
If overheating occurs, stop the motorcycle safely and turn off the engine. Check the coolant level and inspect for leaks. Allow the engine to cool before continuing. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
To replace the air filter, remove the seat and side panels, unbolt the air filter cover, and replace the old filter with a new one. Ensure the new filter is properly seated before reassembling.
Common brake issues include squeaking or reduced braking efficiency. Ensure the brake pads are not worn and replace them if necessary. Bleed the brake lines to remove air bubbles and check for proper fluid levels.
