It is recommended to change the oil every 4,000 miles or 6,400 kilometers, or once a year, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
The recommended oil is SAE 10W-30, with an API classification of SG or higher. Always use a high-quality motorcycle oil to ensure optimal engine protection.
To adjust the chain tension, first place the motorcycle on a stable stand. Loosen the axle nut, then adjust the chain adjusters equally on both sides until the slack is within the 35-45 mm range. Finally, tighten the axle nut to the specified torque.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front tire and 42 psi for the rear tire. Maintaining the correct tire pressure ensures optimal handling and tire life.
To improve fuel efficiency, regularly maintain your motorcycle, keep the tires properly inflated, avoid aggressive acceleration, and ride at a steady speed. Regularly clean or replace the air filter as well.
First, check the battery connections and ensure they are tight. Verify the kill switch is in the run position, and the fuel valve is open. If it still won’t start, check for a blown fuse or consult a professional mechanic.
To replace the air filter, remove the seat and the side panels. Locate the air filter housing, open it, and remove the old filter. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is seated properly, then reassemble the housing and panels.
The recommended brake fluid is DOT 4. Ensure you use a high-quality fluid and regularly check for any signs of contamination or low levels.
First, check the headlight bulb to see if it is burned out. If the bulb is fine, inspect the headlight fuse and wiring connections for any issues. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
Regular maintenance includes oil and filter changes, chain adjustments, brake inspections, tire pressure checks, and air filter replacements. Follow the maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual for detailed intervals and procedures.
